Factual statements and Emotional expressions in ProofLex
Balancing facts and emotions helps you create content that feels trustworthy and relatable.
-
Factual Ratio: The part of your writing that includes accurate information, data or evidence.
-
Emotional Ratio: The part that expresses feelings, opinions or persuasive language.
If your writing has too many facts, it may feel dry. If it has too much emotion, it can seem less objective. Checking these ratios helps you keep your message clear and engaging.
ProofLex analyses your content and shows how much of it is factual versus emotional so you can adjust your tone and strengthen your message.
Steps to Check Your Factual and Emotional Ratio in ProofLex :
1. Open your document and click on “Review” under AI tools in the right navigation panel.

2. Click on the “Fact vs Emotions” graph icon to let ProofLex analyze your content.

3. The Fact vs Emotion graph will appear, showing how many sentences are factual and how many are emotional.

4. You can hover on the graph to see which sentences fall under each category.

You can further explore the emotional analysis feature to review and adjust the emotional balance of longer documents.
